10 April 1948. Józef Zołoteńki, head of the BK department, living in Warsaw at Fałata Street 6, flat 23, responded to the summons from the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes and gave the following answer to the question asked of him. "I didn’t talk to Germans about the killing of more than 30 priests at the Jesuits" house on 2 August 1944. But my wife, a few days after the killing, heard as one of the German soldiers, in answering the question regarding the massacre, confessed to killing the priests himself.
I think that the massacre was carried out by an SS unit from Stauferkaserne’ .
