The victims were brought in from: They had been hiding in the woods.

Surname, age, occupation, address: Stanisław Zawiślak, born on 15 November 1915,

Gaj Czerniciński, Turobin Commune, Krasnystaw District, Lublin Voivodeship, teacher,

lieutenant of the reserve – sabotage inspector of the Sandomierz District. The names

of the rest are unknown. The above-mentioned person was buried in the monastery

cemetery in Rytwiany.

4. Is it known what the victims were accused of, whether the execution was carried out in retaliation, etc.?

It is unknown.

5. Who carried out the execution (gendarmerie, Gestapo, SS, police, Wehrmacht)?

Gendarmes.

6. Are the surnames of the perpetrators known (please provide the surnames)?

Unknown.

7. Were the corpses burned or destroyed in any other way?

They were not destroyed.

On 28 September 1945, the contents of the above questionnaire were officially certified by Jan Kaczanowski, the head of the Rytwiany Commune, with the Municipal Court in Staszów.

Rytwiany Forest – Golejów Forest District:

Division 6 – 9 people, Jews, 3 men and 2 women, common grave, 2 men separately and 2 women separately.

Division 19 – 9 people, Jews, 3 men and 2 women were taken to Staszów to the Jewish cemetery. 1 man and 1 woman in a common grave, 2 men separately.

Division 20 – 1 Jew, buried in the forest.

Division 25 – 8 people, Jews, 1 man and 4 women, common grave, 1 woman and 1 man separately, 1 woman taken to Staszów to the Jewish cemetery.

Division 26 – 2 people, 1 Pole and 1 Jew. The Pole was taken to the cemetery in Staszów, the Jew was buried in the forest.

Division 28 – 3 people, Jews, 2 men and 1 woman, buried separately.

Division 34 – 5 people, 4 Poles and 1 Jew, 2 Poles, common grave, 1 Pole separately, 1 Pole taken to the cemetery in Staszów, 1 Jew taken to the Jewish cemetery in Staszów.

Division 39 – 8 people, Jews, 4 men and 4 women, taken to Staszów.

Division 40 – 3 people, Jews, 2 men, common grave, 1 woman separately, by a forest in the Golejów Forest District, in the direction of the road leading to Staszów, there are 7 people – Jews – 100 m away from the Golejów road to the south, 1 Jew and 1 Jewish woman are buried separately; about 80 m away, 1 Jewish woman is buried; about 400 m away from that place in the direction of the Staszów road, 3 Jewish women and 1 Jew are buried in a common grave. 20 m from the Staszów road, 1 Jewish woman is buried.

Division 58 – 1 Jew is buried there.

Division 62 – 2 Jews and 1 Jewish woman.

Division 63 – 1 Jew.

Division 64 – 2 Jews.

Strzegom Forest District:

Division 42 – 1 Jew is buried there.

Division 49 – 20 Jews and 6 Jewish women.

Division 54 – 2 Jews and 2 Jewish women.

Division 51 – 1 Jewish woman.

Division 52 – 1 Jewish woman and 1 Jew.

Total: 6 Poles and 91 Jews who had been killed.
