May 1943 in Kozubów, Chroberz commune.

Guerilla fighting.

3. Information about those murdered:

Poles, Jews, foreigners: 2 Poles and 2 Soviets.
Number of people murdered: 4.
Names, age, occupation, addresses: Unknown.

4. Do you know what the victims were accused of and whether the execution was a retaliatory order, etc.?

As guerillas, they died in a fight with the Germans.

5. Who carried out the execution (gendarmerie, Gestapo, SS, police, Wehrmacht)?

Wehrmacht.

6. Do you know the names of the perpetrators (give the names)?

No.

7. Were the corpses burned or destroyed in any other way?

8. Where were the corpses buried (the exact place)?

They were buried in a shared grave by the road leading from Kozubów to Teresów, on

the Kozubów grounds, Chroberz commune, Pińczów district.

9. Description of the grave (graves, dimensions, presumable number of victims in one grave):

All four were buried in one pit with no coffins.

10. Was there an exhumation, was it official (a report), where were the bodies buried?

No.

11. Are there grounds for ordering a later exhumation?

No.

On 9 October 1945 the contents of the above questionnaire were formally confirmed by the leader of Chroberz commune, Piotr Gil, in front of the Municipal Court in Pińczów.
