On 27 November 1947 in Radom, the District Commission for the Investigation of German Crimes with its seat in Radom, this in the person of a member of the Commission, lawyer Zygmunt Glogier, interviewed the person mentioned hereunder as a witness, without taking an oath. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations, the witness testified as follows:

I think that it was in May 1943 that I worked as a housemaid, for two – three hours a day, in Pomorski’s house at Żeromskiego Street 58. One of the flats there was occupied by Alvin Schwiecker, whose surname I remember because it was how his friends addressed him. The only residents of the house were Gestapo men. Some time later, Schwiecker was joined by his wife and two small children. His wife set up a grocery at Żeromskiego Street. Since I was unable to speak with them in German, I finally left their employ. Schwiecker was a tall, red- haired man, with a repugnant appearance – he resembled a brigand. Sometimes when I went to the house, his bed was untouched – this meant that he had been away at night. There were always many bottles in his flat, and this signified that he liked alcohol very much. I don’t know what he was occupied with, for I was terribly afraid of him and avoided all contact. The above is concordant with my oral testimony.

The report was read out.
