ANNA MIKULSKA

On 18 December 1945, in Radom, Kazimierz Borys, Investigating Judge from the Second District of the District Court in Radom, based in Radom, interviewed the person named below as an unsworn witness. Having been advised of the criminal liability for making false declarations, the witness testified as follows:

Name and surname Anna Mikulska
Age 38 years old
Names of parents Józef and Wiktoria
Place of residence Radom, Skłodowskiej Street 3, flat 9
Occupation clerk at the "Społem" branch
Religious affiliation Roman Catholic
Criminal record none
Relationship to the parties none

I talked to Jadwiga Paluszyńska after her return from the concentration camp and she told me that in 1942 she had shared a cell with Halina Bretsznajder, who was executed by the Germans on the gallows, and Pelagia Matuszewska, who worked as a secretary at the Radom branch of "Społem". According to Paluszyńska, on 15 October 1942, that is on the day of the execution carried out by the Warsaw road in Radom, Halina Bretsznajder was led out of her cell along with Pelagia Matuszewska.

From this I infer that Pelagia Matuszewska was also hanged by the Germans by the Warsaw road. This inference was confirmed by Ignacy Małecki, a clerk at the "Społem" Bank in Radom, who told me on the day on which the execution was carried out that he had seen with his own eyes Pelagia Matuszewska having been hanged.

Jadwiga Paluszyńska left Radom.
Ignacy Małecki also doesn’t live in Radom. He went to Łódź.

The report was read out.
