My wartime experiences
When the shots were heard, everybody was afraid. And then it came to pass that this terrible war swept through our area. We were all in the forest, hearing bullets and planes flying over our heads all the time. After a few hours this terrible war moved away, and the Soviet army came. That was my wartime experience.
