On 28 November 1945 I carried out the inhumation in the Pisłudski Fort, from the side of Aleja Belwederska. There were a great number of human bones lying on the ground. The bones were placed into six boxes. These were the remains of about 60 people. They were buried in the City cemetery. I learned from the local inhabitants that in mid-August 1944 the Germans had herded people from the area into the Piłsudski Fort and bombarded them from planes.
