My experience from the war

It all happened in the middle of the Second World War. Two German trucks drove into Parczew. They were carrying Polish prisoners. The Germans set up gallows in the marketplace, upon which they intended to hang the prisoners. They also set up four machine guns, and then led the prisoners out of the trucks. The hangman took the prisoners to the gallows and hanged them one by one. And since it was a market day, there were many people gathered there; some were crying. There were 12 prisoners in all.

The corpses were left hanging for the whole day and night. They were taken down the next day and buried in the cemetery. When I learned of this Hitlerite crime, I felt sorrow and grief.
